Det amerikanske varemerket Timex har en over 150-år lang historie når det gjelder produksjon av holdbare og prisgunstige klokker til den gemene mann. Alt startet i Connecticut i 1854 med et firma som het Waterburry Clock Company, som produserte prisgunstige klokker med inspirasjon fra europeiske luksusmerker. OUR ROOTS DATE BACK TO 1854 IN WATERBURY, CONNECTICUT
1854: WATERBURY CLOCK COMPANY OPENS IN BRASS CITY WHILE WATERBURY BOOMED WITH BRASS, WE ADDED AMERICAN INGENUITY TO EUROPEAN CLOCKMAKING. THE RESULT WAS MASS-PRODUCTION 40 YEARS BEFORE THE MODEL T AND A $6 CLOCK ALMOST EVERYONE COULD AFFORD.
